Summer Volunteen Program - Grades 7 - 12

Are you friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable? Do you like working with children? Would you like to meet new friends, learn job-related skills, and satisfy community service requirements? Then join our summer team of volunteers! All volunteers must attend an orientation session.

Registration is required and space is limited. Please call 989-837-3466 to register for one of the following sessions:

Wednesday, June 6, 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (ONLY returning volunteers may attend this session.)
Friday, June 8, 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Saturday, June 9, 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.

During the orientation session, we will brief you on staffing the summer reading prize desk, usher duties, special program days, and other volunteer offerings. We will encourage you to sign up for at least ten hours of volunteer work during the summer, with the option to add more hours later. It will be helpful to know the dates of your family vacations and all other commitments, so have your calendars ready!

Please complete the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library Volunteer Application (PDF) and the top portion of the VolunTEEN Time Sheet (PDF) and bring them with you to the orientation session.
