Pick up a reading log at the Youth Services desk between June 13 and July 29. Last day to pick up prizes is Saturday, August 6 at 5:00 PM.

Get familiar with the redesigned SAT by taking an SAT Practice Test offered by Sylvan Learning Center. This is a great opportunity to determine where to focus your study efforts in preparation for the SAT.

Want to do better on the SAT? Plan on attending one of Sylvan Learning Center's tip sessions offered as follow up to the SAT Practice Test. Individual practice test results from the June 22 test will be available for pick up at either session.

ZOMBIE MAKEUP 101

Who wants to be the hero, when you can be the zombie? Tish Delano, from the Flint Zombie Walk, will be teaching the art of applying makeup to contour and create wounds and bruises. Tish will also provide recipes for making fake blood and offer the basics of zombie costuming.

Prepare to craft your own marshmallow shooter and do some marshmallow slinging on our very own Library shooting range. Then we'll put it to the test in the Library Wild Wild West!



FREE KINDLE eREADER LENDING

The library has four Kindles available for check out for use by patrons ages 6 to 17.
The Kindle eReader must be checked out on the parent's or legal guardian's library card.

The Kindles can be loaded with up to four OverDrive titles.

The Kindle has a checkout period of three weeks.
