Pitch Hit & Run

Please enter Dow Diamond from the east gate. No pre-registration is necessary for the event. The parent/guardian-signed registration form must be completed. This can be downloaded prior to the competition.

Participants can compete at any time from 10 a.m. – Noon. Winners will be notified after the event. Winners must be able to provide a birth certificate within three days of competition. 

Pitch Hit & Run is a free nationwide baseball/softball event for kids age 7-14. Each child participates in 3 activities:
  • Pitch

    (throw 6 pitches to a strike zone)
  • Hit

    (hit a ball off a stationary tee)
  • Run

    (timed run around the bases)

Pitch Hit & Run Information

  • Age divisions are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 
  • Age is determined as of July 17th of the current year
  • All participants must submit a signed registration/waiver on-site on the day of the event
  • Boys and girls compete separately
  • Event is free
  • No metal spikes allowed
  • Participants can compete at any time during the competition
  • Winners will be notified after the event (and must provide a birth certificate within 3 days of the competition)
  • Boys will use baseballs; girls will use 11" or 12" softballs based on their age
