Join our Summer Reading Program!
June 11–August 11 2018
Infants through 5th Grade

Earn coupons and a book this summer by reading or listening to a book or by doing an alternate activity!  Pick up a reading log in the Youth Services Department starting June 11. 
Prizes will be available from June 18 to August 11.

What makes sound? Find out as you investigate vibrations, pitch, and volume while making obnoxious noise-making instruments to take home.

READ IN THE WOODS AT CHIPPEWA NATURE

Saturday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Stop by the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library to check out books, then seek out a shady tree, a grassy meadow, or a comfy bench to read together at the Chippewa Nature Center. Bring a blanket and enjoy a story in "The Woods," CNC's new Nature Play Area before venturing out to find your own reading nook in nature.If weather is poor, stories and activities will take place in the Visitor Center. This program is offered in partnership with the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library.
