For students entering grades 6 - 12

   Earn great prizes by reading or listening to books this summer.

   New this year: follow the link below and join using the Wandoo Reader.
(When registering, you must use a unique username for each participant.) 
Then log the minutes that you read or listen to books starting June 10. 
The last day to pick up prizes is Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Join us for a space themed movie of YOUR choosing! Vote for one of four options during the first two weeks of June. You can vote in the Library or on the Grace A. Dow Teen Spot Instagram. Then join us on June 21st to watch the winning movie and make a snack at our DIY popcorn bar. Registration is required. TEEN BOOK CLUB

Fairy-tales, an intergalactic struggle, and cyborgs. What more could you want out of a book? Whether you’ve read it 10 times and still love it, or this will be your very first read, please stop by the library to discuss Cinder by Marissa Meyer! Come relive this exciting adventure over a snack down in the Teen Spot. Copies of the book are available at the Youth Services Desk.

SPACE PIRATES ESCAPE ROOM
Grades 9-12

1:00 - 5:00 pm in the Conference Rooms

You’re on board the Pyxis 8, a space ship on its way to the human colony on Mars, when you are attacked by space pirates who have stolen the space crystals that you have on board! Before the space pirates leave, they disable your control panel on the Pyxis 8. You have 30 minutes to enable the control panel before you and all of the belongings on the ship are ejected into space. Do you have what it takes? Registration is required.
