The Midland Beautification Advisory Committee encourages the development of aesthetics in the City of Midland by recognizing the community in beautification projects and their outstanding contributions that are readily visible to the public. The committee is composed of nine board members and one Emeritus member.
The Beautification Advisory Committee is appointed by and reports to the Parks and Recreation Commission. They lead two programs, the Appreciation of Beautification Awards (ABA) and the Make Midland Beautiful Poster Contest.

Members must live in the City of Midland.
Members must attend monthly meetings, which occur on the 2nd Monday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at City Hall.
Time commitment for each subcommittee varies, but members are asked to give approximately 45 hours of their time to the committee for the year (mostly in July and August).
