Underwriting Information

You can show your support of community television in Midland by becoming an MCTV underwriter. There are different levels of support from which you can choose, and different ways you/your organization will be recognized for your support. Download an underwriter agreement form (PDF) to get started.

Channels & Subscribers

The 4 channels that comprise the MCTV Network - MCTV 191, MCTV 189, MGTV 188, and MPS 190 reach over 20,000 subscribers in the City of Midland and the surrounding area. MCTV is also available on AT&T 's U-verse on channel 99. Approximately 285 individuals are paid MCTV access users from the City of Midland or Midland County who submit programs for cablecast, submit message boards, or use MCTV’s production equipment to create programming.

Programs

MCTV contributes to the sense of community here in Midland. Many of the major non-profit organizations and many churches have a presence on MCTV. Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, viewers can watch local community events, educational programs, high school sports, and concerts.

Government & School Board Meetings

Citizens are also more aware of what’s happening in local government by watching the meetings of the City Council, County Board or the Midland Public Schools Board of Education. MCTV is also a 1st Amendment, Free Speech forum which adds to the dialogue of our democracy.
