Santa Calling

Dates for 2023 Santa Calling are Dec. 5th, 6th, 7th

What is Santa Calling?

Santa Calling is a program in which Midland Parks and Recreation "patches calls through from the North Pole" to registered children in the Midland area. The program is free and is a festive way to celebrate Christmas. Simply register the believers in your family so we can surprise them with a call from the Big Man.

How do I register my child for a call from Santa?

Registration will begin mid-November. Check back for a link to registration!

*Spoiler Alert*

Volunteer to be Santa or Mrs. Claus!

Midland Parks and Recreation (and the children of Midland) need your assistance! We are looking for Midland’s finest gentlemen to speak like Santa Claus during our annual Santa Calling program. We also take the lovely ladies to be Mrs. Claus and elves!

We need volunteers to “patch calls through” (*spoiler alert* pretend to be Santa) to the many children that sign up for the program. Calls are made from the Parks and Recreation Offices so you won’t be seen – only heard. We provide all Santa's with talking points (reindeer’s names, etc.), information about the children (pet’s names, gifts, etc.) and ways to get you out of slippery situations ("Hear that? That's Mrs. Claus calling me for dinner!)" We also provide refreshment to keep those voices in tip-top shape!

To volunteer, contact Parks and Recreation and we can get your registered! You can volunteer one night or as many as you would like! Please tell your friends and co-workers – there are a lot of children to call!
