February 10, 2017 – The City of Midland will begin accepting applications on February 20 for gardening plots at the Circle Community Garden, located at the intersection of Edwin and Cambridge streets.
Beginning on February 13, applications and information on the program will be available on the City’s website, at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/communitygarden. Applications will also be available at the Municipal Service Center.
Applications can be completed online or in person and include a non-refundable $20 fee. When applying online, gardeners will want to create a user name and password in the system prior to opening day. Apply early as the garden plots are filled on a first come, first served basis.

*Any payments sent by mail will be processed after walk-ins are received*
Gardeners who secure a plot in the organic garden will receive a prepared planting bed in which to grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, or flowers. Gardeners will be responsible for purchasing their own plant material, doing their own planting, and handling the summer maintenance required, including watering and weeding.
