Tuesday, March 14 9 a.m.-Noon and 1:30-5 p.m.

An appeal before the March 2017 Board of Review is required for further right of appeal to the Michigan Tax Tribunal. An appeal to the Tribunal will only be accepted if an appeal is first made to the local Board of Review. Beginning in 2007, commercial, industrial, developmental, and utility property may be appealed directly to the Tribunal without protest before the Board of Review, as provided for by P.A. 174 of 2006.
An appeal may be made in person or by letter, if received by the Board no later than March 16, 2017. Residents who would like to make an appointment to speak with the Board or have questions about the 2017 Board of Review process may contact the City Assessor’s Office at 989-837-3334.
