[ARCHIVED] Ashman Street Intersection Closed June 30 for Construction

June 29, 2017 – The intersection of Ashman and Main Streets will be closed to through traffic on Friday, June 30 for street milling as part of the Dig In Midland project. In addition, an 8-foot section of roadway on the east side of Ashman will be also be milled.

Pavement milling involves removing at least part of the surface of a paved area.

The intersection is expected to be reopened temporarily to traffic by the end of the day Friday. Beginning Wednesday, July 6, the intersection be closed again for 4 to 6 weeks for full street reconstruction.
