[ARCHIVED] City's Special Flood Collection to Wrap Up This Week

July 10, 2017 – After two weeks of flood recovery efforts, Midland’s Department of Public Services (DPS) crews will conclude special flood refuse collection this week and will resume regular heavy item and brush collection throughout the City.

To get back on schedule, crews will pick up brush from areas D, B, and A this week at the same time as they collect flood debris from these areas. On Monday, July 17, crews will resume the regular heavy item and brush collection schedule beginning with Area C.

Residents who still have flood debris remaining after their neighborhood’s most recent collection should email their name and address to floodcollection@midland-mi.org to request an additional collection.

The City extends a sincere thank you to all Midland residents for their understanding, patience, and kindness towards our DPS crews during the flood collection process.
