[ARCHIVED] Get Your Paws Wet at Plymouth Pool on September 9th

August 4, 2017 – Plymouth Pool is going to the dogs!

Midland Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce their annual Pooches at the Pool Dog Swim on Saturday, September 9. During the event, owners will have the opportunity to fetch their Fido and take a swim before the pool closes for the season.

Plymouth Pool features a zero-depth entry and a deep well – perfect for any pooch. Each dog will get 30 minutes in the pool (with their owner ages 8 and older), with swim times varying throughout the day.  Cost is $8.00 per dog.

Owners will be responsible for providing written proof of vaccinations on the day of the event (tags do not suffice).  In addition, local canine organizations will be on hand to showcase their services and provide volunteer assistance.

All dogs on deck! Pre-registration and pre-payment for this event is recommended.  Registration will end when all spots are full and walk-ins will only be taken on the day of the event if space is available. Register for this event online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/recreation or at the Parks and Recreation Office at 4811 N. Saginaw Rd.

It’s a dog eat dog world, so register early!  This event will fill up quickly.
