[ARCHIVED] City Offices Close for Independence Day

June 26, 2014 – All City of Midland offices, including the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, the Sanitary Landfill, and Dial-A-Ride Transportation, will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended as well.

Refuse will not be collected on Friday, July 4. Instead, a double pickup will be made on Monday, July 7. Residents who live on streets normally scheduled for Friday refuse collection should place refuse at the curb by 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 7 to help ensure collection.

The Library will maintain its normal Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 5.

The Landfill will maintain its normal hours of 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 5.
