[ARCHIVED] City Promotes Taglauer to Chief Building Inspector

Steve Taglauer 2018January 12, 2018 – The City of Midland is pleased to announce that Building Inspector Steve Taglauer has been promoted to the role of Chief Building Inspector.

Steve began his career in the City’s Building Department in January 2005. Previously, he worked in a supervisory role at Cintas Corporation and has also owned and operated his own construction company, specializing in new home construction; window, door, and siding installation; and exterior deck construction. He is a current member of the State of Code Officials Board of Directors (COCM) and engages with fellow code officials and local construction organizations on a regular basis, including the Midland Home Builders Association.

“During his time with the City, Steve has become very well integrated into the local construction community and has earned the high regard of his peers across the state,” stated Grant Murschel, the City’s Director of Planning and Community Development. “We are very fortunate to have such a proficient, hard-working, and goal-oriented person serving our community and on our team.”
