[ARCHIVED] Ashman to Close Between Indian & Buttles on April 3-4

March 27, 2018 – Ashman Street will be closed between Indian and Buttles Streets for two days next week for the installation of new utility poles by Consumers Energy.

On Tuesday, April 3 through Wednesday, April 4, Ashman will be closed to through traffic from Indian to Buttles. Traffic signals will be temporarily removed at these intersections while work is being completed. The left lane of Buttles Street will also be closed at this time.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on April 4.

A detour route around the closure will be posted using W. Indian Street, Gordon Street, and S. Buttles Street. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes around this area if possible.
