[ARCHIVED] Second Phase of Carpenter St. Reconstruction Starts May 24

May 23, 2018 – Beginning Thursday, May 24, E. Carpenter Street will be closed to through traffic between Ashman Street and Patrick Road as crews begin Phase II of the Carpenter Street reconstruction and water main installation project.

During the project, motorists should anticipate intermittent lane closures on Ashman and Rodd Streets at Carpenter Street. The George Street intersection will remain open until Midland Public Schools release for the summer on Thursday, June 14. Please use caution when traveling through construction zones.

The Carpenter Street project is estimated to finish in August 2018.
