[ARCHIVED] Reminder: Submit Nominations for Beautification Awards

July 13, 2018  Don’t wait – the deadline is almost here to nominate Midland’s most beautiful outdoor spaces for our annual awards! Midland’s Beautification Advisory Committee is accepting nominations for the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards through Wednesday, August 1.

Residents are encouraged to nominate the property of a friend, neighbor, family member, or even a stranger for their work to make Midland a beautiful community. Awards will be given in the categories of Landscaping Accomplishments and Structural/Site Improvements made to residential and non-residential (business) property. The Bette R. Tollar Civic Commitment Award recognizes major beautification accomplishments that benefit the community as a whole.

Please remember: only properties within the City of Midland are eligible for awards.

Nomination forms are available at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, City Hall, and the Municipal Service Center or on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/beautification.

Recipients of this year’s awards will be recognized and honored at a ceremony in November.

For additional information, visit the Municipal Service Center, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, or contact Marcie Post at 837-6936 or by email at mpost@midland-mi.org
