2018 Waldo Ave Reconstruction  Water Main Detour -July 12 web

July 17, 2018 – Waldo Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Wheeler Street and E. Ashman Street on Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19 while crews continue to install catch basin leads as part of the Waldo Avenue street reconstruction project.

As with the previous closure last week, southbound through traffic on Waldo will be detoured using E. Wheeler Road, Rockwell Drive, and E. Ashman Street. Northbound through traffic will continue to use the posted detour, while Waldo will be open to northbound local traffic from E. Ashman to Fuller Drive. Access to Candlestone and Brookdale assisted living facilities will remain open from Wheeler Street during the closure.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes or avoid the area if possible to avoid traffic delays.
