August 24, 2018 – The Midland Budget Planning Study is now in full swing, and residents are encouraged to get involved by sharing their feedback via an online questionnaire.
To participate in the study, residents should complete the brief questionnaire at www.CobaltCommunityResearch.org/midland by Monday, September 17. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Paper copies of the questionnaire are available at City Hall, 333 W. Ellsworth Street. Residents who have received one in the mail should follow the directions given in the included letter.
For the second phase of the study, residents will be invited to attend public follow-up feedback sessions on the follow dates to discuss the initial research findings and explore ideas for future budget cycles:
Both sessions will be held at the Midland Law Enforcement Center, 2727 Rodd Street, from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
The City of Midland has partnered with Michigan-based benchmarking organization Cobalt Community Research and business analytics firm Munetrix to complete the Budget Planning Study, which will explore residents’ needs and wants for the future of the City’s public safety, public services, infrastructure, community initiatives, and more.
