[ARCHIVED] City Offices to Close for Labor Day

August 24, 2018 – The Labor Day holiday weekend is just around the corner. In recognition of the holiday, all City of Midland offices will be closed on Monday, September 3.

Residents with Monday and Tuesday refuse and Monday and Tuesday Week 1 recycling collections should place items at the curb on Tuesday, September 4.  Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and City of Midland Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Labor Day, but will have normal Saturday hours. Both will be closed on Sunday, September 2.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation System will not operate on Labor Day; however, buses will run during normal Saturday and Sunday hours of operation.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Labor Day.
