August 30, 2018 – Beginning the week of September 10, motorists on Wheeler Street will encounter some traffic changes as a street reconstruction project gets underway between Saginaw Road and Jefferson Avenue.
During the project, eastbound through traffic on Wheeler will be detoured using N. Saginaw Road, W. Sugnet Road, and Jefferson Avenue. Westbound through traffic will remain on Wheeler.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes or avoid the area if possible to avoid traffic delays. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2018.
