September 7, 2018 – Midland residents who want to have a say in future City budget planning cycles are reminded to share their feedback via the Budget Planning Study questionnaire, then sign up for upcoming feedback follow-up sessions in October.
Residents can find the questionnaire at www.CobaltCommunityResearch.org/midland, which should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Respondents should type “Midland” in the blank that asks for a survey ID number.
Paper copies of the questionnaire are available at City Hall, 333 W. Ellsworth Street. Residents who have received one in the mail should follow the directions given in the included letter.
For the second phase of the study, residents will be invited to attend public follow-up feedback sessions on the follow dates to discuss the initial research findings and explore ideas for future budget cycles:
Both sessions will be held at the Midland Law Enforcement Center, 2727 Rodd Street, from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
The City of Midland has partnered with Michigan-based benchmarking organization Cobalt Community Research and business analytics firm Munetrix to complete the Budget Planning Study, which will explore residents’ needs and wants for the future of the City’s public safety, public services, infrastructure, community initiatives, and more.
