[ARCHIVED] Waldo Ave. Closed at US-10 Thursday for Final Paving

September 25, 2018 – On Thursday, September 27, Waldo Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Wheeler Street (US-10 off-ramp) and E. Ashman Street as crews perform final paving operations on the Waldo Avenue reconstruction project.

During this time, Waldo will be open to southbound local traffic only within the construction zone. Southbound though traffic will be detoured using E. Wheeler Road, Rockwell Drive, and E. Ashman Street. Northbound traffic will continue to use the posted detour. Access to Candlestone and Brookdale assisted living facilities will remain open from Wheeler during the closure.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the closure if possible to avoid delays.
