[ARCHIVED] Midland Parks & Recreation Presents “House on Haunted Hill” at Stratford Woods Park

October 12, 2018  Midland Parks and Recreation is frightfully excited to terrify audiences in their spooky pre-Halloween celebration next Saturday!

Fright lovers are invited to a free drive-in style screening of the 1959 black and white horror film “House on Haunted Hill” at Stratford Woods Park on Saturday, October 20. The movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. and local food trucks will be on hand to provide tasty treats before the movie starts.

Viewers will have two choices for watching the movie: stay in their cars and listen via their car stereo or (if you dare!) bring blankets and chairs to sit in the parking lot. This event is open to all ages; however, viewer discretion is advised as it may be too scary for young children. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.

Stratford Woods Park is located at 3922 E. Ashman Street in Midland.
