[ARCHIVED] City Water Department Offers Advice on Water Testing Phone Calls

October 12, 2018 – The City of Midland Water Department has been advised that several residents in Midland have received telephone calls advertising water testing services. Typically, this is a sales call from an outside company attempting to sell the resident a water filtration system or other products. The City of Midland Water Department is not associated with these calls.

The Midland Water Department does not solicit products or services regarding residents’ water service. If the Water Department needs to contact you for any reason, contact will made via postal mail or via phone with the caller providing proper identification as a Water Department representative. If a Water Department representative visits your home, he or she will also possess and provide proper identification.

Residents with questions or concerns about their water quality should contact the Water Department directly at 989-837-3515 Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The annual Water Quality Report for the City of Midland can be found at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/waterreport.
