[ARCHIVED] Harry Potter Week at the Library

October 26, 2018 – Come to the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library to experience the magical world of Harry Potter! Check out popular Harry Potter scenes throughout the Library in anticipation of Harry Potter Week, November 4 - 11. 

During the week of November 4, the Library will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone, the first book in the hugely popular series. Activities for wizards and muggles of all ages will include wand and slime making, spider crafts, OWLS with Wildlife Recovery, Harry Potter-themed escape rooms, and more.

On Friday, November 9, guests can listen to the Harry Potter-inspired sounds of the wizard rock band Tonks & the Aurors in the Library Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Patrons can also watch the entire series of Harry Potter movies throughout the week. A list of play times and locations can be found on the Library’s website or monthly calendar, or by calling the Library at 989-837-3430.
