[ARCHIVED] MCTV Celebrates its Users on Honors Night

November 9, 2018 – Residents are invited to attend the annual Midland Community Television (MCTV) Honors Night on Thursday, November 15 at Creative 360, 1517 Bayliss Street. The night will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7 p.m.

Honors Night is a yearly celebration held to recognize the efforts of the many access users and organizations who create the programs seen on Midland’s four cable access channels.  This program is presented by the Friends of MCTV. John McPeak will serve as the volunteer host. A major award will be presented to an individual and an organization for their efforts in creating original, local content with Midland Community Television.

Pre-show music will be provided by local musician Mio Bischoff. Mio previously performed on the Friends of MCTV’s annual program Shining Stars Talent Showcase.

MCTV 189 & 191, MPS-TV 190, and MGTV 188 are shown on Charter Spectrum cable in the Midland area. These channels can also be found through Channel 99 on AT&T’s U-verse. Many MCTV programs can be viewed on the MCTV Network’s Community Voices YouTube channel. Listen to many community and government programs on MCTV Network’s new podcast channel by searching MCTV Network in your preferred podcast platform.
