[ARCHIVED] Beach Volleyball Serves Up Summertime Fun

March 28, 2014 – Midland Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting beach volleyball team and player registrations for the 2014 summer season on Monday, March 31.

Midland Parks and Recreation’s beach volleyball leagues will begin on Monday, June 2. The eight-week season will be played at Stratford Woods Park, Monday – Thursday with games occurring between 6 - 8 p.m. Teams will only play on the night of their choosing. There will be no games played the week of July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

In addition to registering in person or by mail, teams can register online. Each team must have the minimum number of players registered by Friday, May 2 (ex., two players for a two-man team) in order to be scheduled into a league. Additional players can sign up anytime throughout the season but must be registered before they play.
