December 14, 2018 – The upcoming holiday season will cause changes to refuse and recycling collection schedules for some City residents next week.
City offices and services will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday. Residents with Monday, December 24 refuse and Monday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Friday, December 21. Residents with Tuesday, December 25 refuse and Tuesday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Wednesday, December 26.
Residents with Tuesday, January 1 refuse collection should place items at the curb on Wednesday, January 2. Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. There is no recycling collection for the week of December 31 – January 4.
Households whose refuse and recycling collection are impacted were sent a postcard in the mail last week.
