January 18, 2019 – Midland Community Television (MCTV) is pleased to announce two new podcast services that are now available to Midland residents and organizations: Community Voices and Government Affairs. These podcasts are an audio-only version of the programming that residents see on the MCTV Network.

The MCTV Network Community Voices podcast features original programming crated by MCTV’s access users, including non-profit organizations and individual producers. Access users can utilize this service to reach an even larger audience, while citizens can enjoy locally-created content, public service announcement, thought pieces, and more. As an additional service for individuals and non-profit organizations, MCTV regularly promotes new podcast episodes on social media to help expand the reach of their programs.

The MCTV Network Government Affairs podcast covers City of Midland events and information, including gavel-to-gavel coverage of City Council and other public meetings, special presentations at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, and more.

To find these podcasts, search for “MCTV Network Community Voices or “MCTV Network Government Affairs” on the podcast platform of your choice and subscribe to be notified whenever a new program is available for listening.

To learn more about the podcast service or the MCTV Network, visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/MCTV, follow MCTV on Facebook, or search for MCTV Network Community Voices on YouTube or your podcast platform of choice.

Midland Community Television is located in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library at 1710 W. St. Andrews Rd. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening and Saturday hours are available by request. MCTV is a service of the City of Midland.
