April 18, 2019 – The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be host a free musical performance by the Delta Flute Choir on Friday, May 3, in the Orchard Room. Mocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. followed by the performance at 6 p.m.
Founded in 1974 at Delta College, the Delta Flute Choir is one of the five oldest flute choirs in the United States and the oldest performing flute choir in Michigan. The group, comprised of 12-14 individuals, features high school to senior citizen-aged musicians and presents the complete range of flute instrumentation – piccolo, E flat, C, alto, and bass flute(s).
