[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Collection Stickers Required Beginning Monday, May 6

May 3, 2019 – The City of Midland’s free yard waste collection within the city of Midland ends for the spring season on Friday, May 3. Collection stickers for yard waste bags and bins will be required starting Monday, May 6.

Yard waste is collected curbside on your regular weekly refuse collection day.  Yard waste must be placed in Kraft paper compost bags or blue, 95-gallon yard waste bins before being set at the curb.  Acceptable materials include grass clippings, leaves, garden waste, and small twigs and branches.

Please note that fees for the yard waste program are as follows:

  • Yard waste bag stickers – $.40 per bag
  • Yard waste bin annual sticker – $40.00
  • Additional yard waste bin annual sticker – $17.00 for each additional bin at the same address
