[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for Memorial Day

May 17, 2019 – All City of Midland offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday.

Residents with Monday and Tuesday refuse collection and Monday and Tuesday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Tuesday, May 28.  Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

The Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Memorial Day, but will have regular Saturday hours from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 25.  

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Sunday, May 26 and on Memorial Day, but will have normal hours on Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dial-A-Ride will be closed on Memorial Day. DART bus service will operate Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Phone service will be available on Saturday, May 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Memorial Day.
