[ARCHIVED] Summer LEAP Program for Special Needs Adults Begins June 17

June 14, 2019 – The City of Midland’s popular summer recreation program for adults with special needs kicks off Monday, June 17. 

Midland’s Lifetime Education and Adventure Program (L.E.A.P.) features supervised activities to broaden experiences and skills for participants ages 18 and older with special needs. The program runs every Monday through Thursday evening through August 8 at various locations in Midland.  Activities include sports, concerts, arts and crafts, and more.  

Register now in person at the Parks and Recreation or register on-site beginning on Monday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the City Forest Chalet. Registration forms are available on the City’s website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/leap. Participants can sign up at any point throughout the program. A calendar of events will be distributed upon registration and can also be retrieved from the City’s website.
