August 30, 2019 – The City of Midland invites Midland residents and M-20 corridor users to attend a public community conversation about the future vision of Indian and Buttles streets, including a discussion on the current road diet trial.
The session will begin with a presentation by City staff that will provide an overview of the study, current statistical data, and a vision for future planning in the corridor. Following the presentation, attendees will form small groups to discuss specific objectives of the road diet trial and share their groups’ findings with all participants, City staff, and the Midland City Council. City staff and Midland City Council members will be present at the meeting to listen to feedback from attendees.
The community conversation will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. in Mayton Hall of Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1310 Ashman Street. The meeting will be recorded by Midland Community Television (MCTV) and replayed on MGTV Channel 188 (Charter) or 99 (Uverse) and posted on the City’s website and social media channels for those who are unable to attend.
