[ARCHIVED] MDOT Resurfacing Project on Buttles, Indian Streets Begins September 18

Lines on an asphalt road

September 12, 2019 – Beginning Wednesday, September 18, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin a milling and resurfacing project on Indian Street from E. Pine Street to Jerome Street/M-20 and on Buttles Street from Haley Street to E. Pine. This work will replace the existing road surface and improve drainage structures on Indian and Buttles.

During this project, overnight lane closures will reduce Indian to one lane from Pine to Haley and Buttles from Haley to E. Pine. All work will be completed during nighttime hours to minimize traffic impacts; however, residents are advised that construction may create noise that will be noticeable throughout the night.

Work is expected to be completed by Saturday, September 21.

For more information, contact MDOT at 989-773-7756.
