[ARCHIVED] Tee’d Up Downtown Live Sculpture Auction Cancelled

September 13, 2019 – The live Sculpture Auction for the 2019 Downtown Summer Sculpture Series that was previously scheduled for Thursday, September 19 has been cancelled by the Midland Downtown Development Authority.

In lieu of a live auction, an online auction will be held to give the public an opportunity to take home the sculpture that hit a hole-in-one in their hearts. More details on the online Sculpture Auction will be announced by the DDA next week.

Tee’d Up Downtown sculptures will be removed from their locations during the week of September 16, so visitors should plan to check them out soon to avoid asking for a mulligan later! A map and photos of each sculpture can be found at http://bit.ly/teedupdowntown.

Fans of the sculpture series are encouraged to hit the links – literally – to vote for their favorite piece to win the People’s Choice Award by visiting www.downtownmidland.com/teed-up-downtown-peoples-choice Winners of the Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice awards will be announced prior to the beginning of the online auction.

For more information on the Tee’d Up Summer Sculpture Series, please visit www.downtownmidland.com or contact the Downtown Development Authority at 989-837-3330.
