[ARCHIVED] Lane Closure on Jerome at Main Street for Tree Removal, Landscaping Improvements November 4-5

November 1, 2019 – The right lane of eastbound M-20/Jerome Street will be closed along a portion of the M-20 bridge and at the intersection with Main Street for two days next week as City Parks and Recreation and Forestry crews perform maintenance activities.

Beginning Monday, November 4, City crews and contractors will be removing landscaping elements and a tree near the intersection of M-20/Jerome and Main Street.

The right travel lane of eastbound M-20/Jerome will be closed on the Karl B. Robertson Bridge up to the intersection with Main from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The lane will reopen to vehicle traffic at the end of the workday. Right and left turns onto Main Street from M-20 will be permitted during the closure.

Work is expected to complete on Tuesday, November 5, weather permitting. Due to the nature of these activities, work may be rescheduled if conditions warrant.
