November 8, 2019 – Residents are invited to attend the annual Midland Community Television (MCTV) Honors Night on Thursday, November 21 at Creative 360, 1517 Bayliss Street. The night will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 7 p.m.
Honors Night is a yearly celebration held to recognize the efforts of the many access users and organizations who create the programs seen on Midland’s four cable access channels. This program is presented by the Friends of MCTV and will be hosted by John McPeak. A major award will be presented to an individual and an organization for their efforts in creating original, local content with Midland Community Television.
MCTV 189 & 191, MPS-TV 190, and MGTV 188 are shown on Charter Spectrum cable in the Midland area. These channels can also be found through Channel 99 on AT&T’s U-Verse. Many community programs can be viewed on YouTube by searching MCTV Network’s Community Voices, City of Midland, and Midland Public Schools.
