November 8, 2019 – Residents are invited to view a special exhibit that explores the First World War and its lasting impact on American life open now at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library.
“World War I: Lessons and Legacies”, an exhibition developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) and the United States World War I Centennial Commission, features posters that show the far-reaching impact and influence of this war on millions of people in the United States and around the world. The exhibition can be found on the main floor of the Library near the Quiet Room now through December 6, 2019.
Patrons interested in learning more about World War I are invited to visit a corresponding book display at the Library to find related materials available for checkout.
