[ARCHIVED] Downtown Midland Heats Up for Jingle Bell Run/Walk

November 14, 2019 – The Midland Downtown Development Authority and Greater Midland Community Center invite residents to the 2019 Jingle Bell Fun Run/Walk on Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Midland.

This fun, free 1-mile run or walk begins at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Ashman and Main Streets. The race is not a timed event, so people of all ages are welcome to take their time and come dressed in their best festive gear (holiday sweaters, Santa hats, cool socks, etc.). All registered participants will receive a jingle bell necklace to wear during the event. Furry friends and strollers are welcome – the more, the merrier!

In lieu of a registration fee, participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to a local food pantry for the holidays. Participants can also enter to win prizes and gift cards and enjoy free hot chocolate provided The H Hotel.

The 2019 Jingle Bell Run/Walk is sponsored by Reder Landscaping & Lawn, The H Hotel, and Pizza Sam’s.

For more information or to pre-register, visit www.downtownmidland.com. Questions can be directed to the Midland Downtown Development Authority at (989) 837-3330.
