[ARCHIVED] Reminder of Changes to Refuse, Recycling Collection for Holidays

December 20, 2019 – The upcoming holiday season will cause changes to refuse and recycling collection schedules for some City residents next week.

City offices and services will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday. Residents with Tuesday, December 24 refuse and Tuesday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Monday, December 23. Residents with Wednesday, December 25 refuse and Wednesday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Thursday, December 26. 

Residents with Wednesday, January 1 refuse collection should place items at the curb on Thursday, January 2. Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. There is no recycling collection for the week of December 30 – January 3.

Households whose refuse and recycling collection are impacted were sent a postcard in the mail last week.

Residents can find all of the City’s regular and holiday collection schedules, as well as set email and mobile alert reminders, by using the free Recycle Coach™ app available on mobile from the iTunes Store and Google Play or online at www.recyclecoach.com.
