[ARCHIVED] Reminder of City Service Hours for New Year's Day

A calendar with a close-up of the dates

December 27, 2019 – As we prepare to welcome the Year 2020, residents should review the City’s office and service hours for the New Year’s holiday next week.

Most City offices and services will be open regular operating hours on New Year’s Eve. The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and Midland Community Television (MCTV) office will both close at 5 p.m. On Tuesday, December 31, DART will observe regular phone service hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) with reduced bus service hours (6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.) and the last pick-up time at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday refuse and yard waste collection will be collected as normal on Tuesday, December 31. There is no recycling collection for the week of December 30 – January 3.

On New Year’s Day, all City offices and non-emergency services will be closed. Wednesday refuse and yard waste collection will be collected on Thursday, January 2.
