February 7, 2020 – Residents are invited to learn how they could change a life by becoming a literacy tutor at one of three upcoming information sessions hosted by The Legacy Center for Community Success.
At each session, attendees will learn how they can assist students with a variety of literacy topics, including the Barton Reading and Spelling System, Adult Basic Education, and English as a Second Language. Sessions will be held in the Orchard Room of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and will last approximately 30 minutes. A question-and-answer period will be held after each session.
Sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Monday, February 24 at 2 p.m.
- Monday, March 23 at 2 p.m.
- Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m.
