[ARCHIVED] Landfill Closed on Saturdays, Limits Weekday Hours Through April 13

March 24, 2020 – In an effort to limit staff exposure in line with Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order 2020-21, the City of Midland Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Saturdays and restrict its weekday hours through Monday, April 13.

During the restriction, Landfill will be open to commercial customers only from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and will be closed on Saturdays. Residential customers will not be permitted to access the Landfill.

The City will continue to monitor public health information regarding COVID-19 and will reassess and alter its response as needed.
