[ARCHIVED] City Completes Water Main Flushing

May 12, 2020 - The City of Midland has completed its annual water main flushing program, which began on Monday, March 16.  Hydrants throughout the community were systematically opened to clean and refresh the City’s drinking water distribution system.   

The City of Midland Water Distribution staff would like to thank its customers for their patience during this vital maintenance process. The City’s annual maintenance program helps ensure a high level of water quality by preventing corrosion and maintaining a proper disinfection residual.
