[ARCHIVED] Refuse and Heavy Item Collection Updates During Flood Event

May 21, 2020 – City of Midland crews will provide regular Friday refuse and yard waste collection for all accessible streets within the Friday collection area. All customers with Friday Week 3 recycling collection will be collected as scheduled. Customers with Friday refuse collection who live on streets that are inaccessible due to continued flooding will see collection resume on Wednesday, May 27.

 Heavy item and brush collection for the remainder of residents in Area C located west of Eastman Avenue will continue on Tuesday, May 26 for accessible streets in this area.

Residents are reminded that the City of Midland is closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Residents with Monday refuse and Monday Week 4 recycling collection should set their items at the curb on Tuesday, May 26. Collection will be provided for both Monday and Tuesday Refuse and Monday and Tuesday week 4 recycling on Tuesday. Place items at the curb by 7:30 am to ensure collection.
