November 7, 2014 – Parks and Recreation has planned a festive way for children ages 5-10 to prepare for the upcoming holidays by again hosting “A Night at the North Pole” at the City Forest Chalet.
“A Night at the North Pole” will be offered two separate dates this year. Choose either Monday, December 1 or Thursday, December 4 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the City Forest Chalet (2840 E. Monroe Avenue). Through this event, the Christmas holiday will be celebrated with an evening of crafts, games, and of course pizza.
Cost for the event is $12 per child. Pre-registration is required. Hurry, though; space is limited. Parents can register their children beginning Monday, November 10 online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/recreation or in-person at the Parks and Recreation Department at 4811 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI 48640. There is a small convenience fee to register online.
