[ARCHIVED] Landfill Hours for the Week of June 1

June 2, 2020 – The Midland Sanitary Landfill is open daily this week from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. from June 1 – 7, including Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 for all customers.

Both residential and commercial customers can visit the Landfill to dispose of trash, yard waste, and flood debris at this time. All customers dropping off waste, including flood debris, will be required to report where the waste originated from for State of Michigan reporting requirements.

Landfill employees will be following current COVID-19 social distancing measures for the safety of all customers, including limiting person-to-person contact at gatehouse and delineating proper space for each customer to use at the dumpsters. The City asks Landfill customers to please respect the safety of employees and other Landfill patrons by practicing social distancing at the dump site.

Due to the high anticipated volume of customers accessing the Landfill, wait times may be significant. Please be patient.

The Sanitary Landfill is located at 4311 E. Ashman Street and is a service of the City of Midland. For more information, please visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/landfill.
